Hi chaps I've a 300gpd ro with boast pump - pump lasted me two years and died on me - I've recently bought a larger on for 600gpd and out put water is twice as quick which is great thou TDS has creeped to 0.18 from 0.10 but I'll take that for double speed filling. Only run one full fill with it but the pump is roasting hot - don't remember my last one doing that. Is this common with 600gpd pumps or will it blow on me. Cheers

I think you'll need to find a continuously rated one mate... That looks like it won't last too long unfortunately!

Ok mate if not to heavily invested for £48 so how long it last then buy a continuously one. Any ideas where to get one mate

Yeah use it till it dies, then if you google continuously rated booster pump, loads should come up,

I know pure freedom sell them, there expensive but will last forever once invested in!

That pump is way to OTT for you system. It will blow your membranes as it is trying to do too much and is restricted by the membranes you have. Juts be careful that it has a heat protection on the pump to cut it out , if not there is a risk of it catching fire.
