Pole help i'm lost

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Yeah the dark side cost me on my first job this morning when the possessed mind of its own hose got snagged on a gate and self destructed at the tap part /emoticons/sad.png I spent 10 wasted minutes hunting round the garden for the bits to re connect it

I've got all this to come, I was going to open another thread but while your all on here I will ask if you don't mind.

What do you guys use to open gates etc when customers are not in?

A broom stale, £3 delivered from Amazon, a screw in hook and an 'A' frame ladder.

slx-22 was the best thing ever happenned to me in my 3 years of wfping. just recently bought a #6 extension section for those couple of odd windows.

what i like about the slx22 is that when collapsed it's so compact, and to be honest as I said the extension (or an slx25) I need rarely - but maybe that's just my round...

regarding your other question: if the gate is only bolted, and the bolt is lower than what I can reach, i hop over using a ladder, although I'm not very comfortable with that, so most of the times I'd rather make a call before.

I love using my 22 after using the 35, it feels so light /emoticons/smile.png
I'll make my next slx a 22 as well tuffers as the last section on my slx 25 is rarely used.

In fact im going to place an order for the CLX 18 with Gardiners. There is no difference at all in the clx 18 & slx 18 apart from a measely 30 grams in weight! The bumper that you put on the Gardiners brush is 35 grams or so. The Diameter of pole, open & closed lengths are exactly the same so its hard to justify £73 more just for a tiny 30 grams of weight!

I've got the bayersson impressor 25 ft pole , about £90 on ebay and to be honest I can't fault it as yet and would buy again And I reach all the 3 storey houses aswell

Looking at water fed poles I'm looking for a decent one not overly expensive but also not one that I will get fed up of what do you recommend and what size will I need to do upto 3 story?

Going direct to China is the best option for price.

Every window cleaner I have spoken too who have the FaceLift Phoenix carbon fibre pole, say it is the best they have ever used.

Window cleaning wharehouse have an offer of 20% off, so a 25ft (that would give you a 30ft reach) is £260
