there are good and bad everywhere...in every race....in every culture....but one hopes that more good exist than bad....

It was me, kind off, when we got the competition at school, I was trying to think of a sign and my mum who worked at an old folks home said about a sign for old folks, I said it was a rubbish idea and boring- or along those lines, it was a while ago, but I couldnt think of anything else. There was a small box to draw your design in and being the artists we are, we drew two stick people one with a walking stick. I still remember the guy coming into school in primary 5 to say who was the winner and me thinking defo not me cos that was a rubbish idea, and wham bam yep it was that sign I got a certificate, but no money and to this day still no money, just take advantage of kids. It has been funny over the years how people get so emotional of a warning sign. Another funny thing that happened the day it was on the jeremy vine show, was my wife almost ran over an older lady crossing the road that day, yes there was no warning sign, so she wasnt aware of old ladies crossing the road, so these signs should be put on all roads everywhere:rofl:

Jeremy vine tut tut 16 mph in 5mph zone on a bike have to say listen to his show threw earphone in one ear everyday, Bernard manning stole my pint in the middle of a performance at a working mans club In Blackpool however he did buy me another after the show. Hes a great comedian. he works on the principle that if its funny...its funny, regardless of whether it offends someone. And what usually makes it so funny, is that there is truth in it.

i decided id allow injunds onto my round, gave it my all i did and ended up treated like dirt ,enoughs enough!

. i had a word with my workers one day in the van about my new racial policy ," anyone within 1000 miles either way of india can **** off" - a big cheer came from the back of the van!

At the moment I only have 2 houses owned by indians on my round and to be honest there both really lovely family's have never bartered with me and have lovely very polite children and I can honestly say I enjoy being there window cleaner

Unfortunately they have a reputation in the trades. We are constantly told to embrace diversity and cultural differences, yet not if its negative in any way, a total double standard. In their culture they haggle, they're shrewd with their money, and they look down upon manual and dirty jobs.... none of which works out well for us. Thats just my opinion, but like everyone its a mixed bag. Scots have a reputation for being tight arses, but every Scot i've ever worked for has either tipped, or overpaid in some way- no bother at all. Its as if they know their reputation so they want to disprove it. So sometimes you may get a nice surprise, I'll treat each with their own merits.
