Have you ever been accused?

we do a lot of work on new build cleaning and i guarantee you 100% that will have been scratched by the builder, joiner, brickie, cleaner etc.

Ask her if she saw the state of her windows prior to hand over/key release.

We need to use all manner of scrapers, scouring pads etc to remove the amounts of built up mortar and roughcast splattered over the property. She would be horrified. We have a % of glass we can scratch per plot before it goes to an inspection, thats how bad it is, even the builders know they are going to get scratched prior to them moving in.

It won't have been a WFP

To sum up, she is a woman lol, such matters are too technical for them to work out, if it was me i'd just say it was the builders and leave it at that

Myself I class those sorts of jobs as post builders cleans so I get them to sign a waiver. If they don't want to sign it then I don't do the job.

The only "waiving" I'd be doing is the one that indicates goodbye Smurf!!! Goodnight Vienna, over & out./emoticons/biggrin.png

There is no comeback like you have damaged my glass, frames or sills then as I know what damage can be done by builders etc and DMD has comfirmed this.

Tuffers does this mean you have made a claim if gleaming are involved?

No, just going through them to put the :turd: up the hag. She's took what the builder has said as gospel. I want my insurer to back me and basically blame the builder. Can't see it going any further tbh as she hasn't replied to my text to get in touch with my insurer.

cant think I have ever been accused of anything but some can infer and make you feel guilty...I am thinking of the sunday phone call I mentioned on here but i will mention again just in case it happens to anyone else..

oh we have just come back and seen your note for the windows..

we found the inside pane of the velux has smashed and wondered if you knew anything...

er..well..er...I havent actually done it for ages as I look at it and if its bad I do go up but I am not keen on tile walking...and then I went on to explain that I no longer walk on the roof as I have a new way of cleaning awkward windows...

after a while the phone rings and.....oh I have been onto velux and there was a product recall on all the units with that serial number on...and they are coming to replace it free...

they know how to make you feel guilty...

apparently he tells me they are replacing 200 units a week...

so just in case it happens to you remember this one..

as far as your custy tuffers...do you really want me to say it...

I would do a runner.../emoticons/biggrin.png

:whistle:I have been accused of many things in my time

Always gets thrown out of court or cps

I was cleaning on the estate today and I picked up one of her neighbours /emoticons/smile.png. The poor hag has now got to find another window cleaner, bless /emoticons/biggrin.png

I was doing a job today and noticed one dg unit had 3 long stretches. The new park home (caravan) had not been cleaned by me before but I'm guessing was put in like that by the numpties at the factory.

I haven't told the new owners yet as I got side tracked and forgot but I'm betting they try blaming me.

now I hope you got them to sign your waiver form smurfy.../emoticons/biggrin.png

and no I DIDNT break the downpipe bracket trying to get the bar steward ivy out which was nicely growing behind the pipe...it was frank...and as for the gutter clip end when I was cleaning the gutters out ...bloody frank ..I gotta sack him:rofl:
