Liquidator 18" accidental drop test

P

Pickingpaul

polz sent me this today to play with, used it at work and was great, the handle im using there is the swivel handle and im still getting used to the angle but u can put in an ettore or unger if u like, i like the handle as u can swivel the handle to get that extra bit of reach on high windows.

Don`t like that handle to bulky!
Yes it is bulky, unsure if i will stick with it yet, good thing is u can use lots of handles, i will give it a good go before i make my mind up

I tried the swivel for upstair windows paul, but as that big thumb screw is underneath the channel it knocks on the sills and undoes as you are working! think it needs a way to lock the nut in position to stop this, mark munro said the same!

Not keen on the handle either, and I hate the colour scheme lol. But can't wait to buy one of these channells, it looks like it really delivers.

It certainly has a nice look being black. I presume that you say that you can use any channel, so it's down to the plastic end-pieces?

Jim, BW (before wagtail) when I used Unger 0° on a pole I always did side stroke with swivel totally loosened. Locked at 0 would this handle work the same?
No Eric if you are doing a lot of swivel work with the moerman handle it comes undone on it`s own it becomes to loose! which is a pain, constantly having to re-tighten it, i bought two thinking it could be an alternative to wagtail unger etc: but to be honest mark munro said they are looking in to improve it, the handle it ok but the rest is to bulky plus when you add a channel it becomes top heavy!

can you use it like a wagtail? will it pivot/wag??
No as i have said above the big blue thumb screw will work loose and the big thumb screw falls out and the squeegee falls apart!

if the thumb screw was fixed, will it work as a wagtail? or is the pivot point too far away from the channel for it to Wag ?

a wag liqidator now that's a concept to think about. Meaning not only swivels but also a two in one tool which would be ideal for pole work

Pity willie wagtail is a **** and criticises anyone who tries to suggest improvements

Yeah two in one would be worth pursuing, i might fix a flipper pad on over the weekend if i get chance.
