No there was something on it , didnt knew what it was , its not there now , had it 2 yrs no problems .

Haha on a battery it has vent holes to release harmful gasses etc your supposed to put a plastic pipe in and vent them outside the vehicle. Does anyone bother?

You sure ? I though vent holes were used when charging on non sealed battery's? Aren't leisure batterys all sealed nowadays?
It's a no from me anyway. If anyone vents their leisure battery i would be very surprised.
