Got a mate who's a paramedic who said that since Xmas time loads of have had coronavirus symptoms etc, they had numerous call outs, with most being declared as a bad flu. Good chance its been around longer than declared by the govt. Hopefully see the end of it soon so we can all go to the pub...
So anyone self employed that has a partner who works (no matter how much they earn) has to hold out till June for any money as they don't qualify for universal credit? Everyone looking for clear guidance and this just muddies the water more for me. Work and be viewed as doing something wrong...
The very fact that they have said for us to keep working makes me think we will get shafted tomorrow and more than likely be forced to work on. Especially if you haven't had your business up and running with decent profits over the last 3 years
After the pm's speech I decided to tell my customer (those I could contact) that service was suspended until further notice, but like you the nicola sturgeon thing has put me at a crossroads now. We're allowed to work but not all customers will know that if they hadn't seen her speech today. I...
Razor red is so inconsistent that it isn't worth taking a chance in using it in my opinion. Tried it a few times, different batches of rubber and the results are always the same, random lines everywhere. Personally think moerman soft is the best performing rubber from the get go. Ettore soft is...
Really depends on the house size so if you have everything priced properly then you won't have to push yourself too hard. As a general guide though I always aim to do 4 or 5 houses in the hour so double that if its 2 people
Been using liquidators since they ever came out, used with fixed handles, excelerator etc and every rubber available. It's works straight out of the box if you have your rubber cut correctly and your solution nice and thick on your applicator. I do understand when people say they get lines etc...
Just put the ladder up on the side of the extension, resting against the gutter or the wall, either is fine. Doesn't look like a slate roof so unless you weigh over 16 stone you will be absolutely fine walking on that roof
Always the same from builders. As long as they do their job they are not interested in the mess elsewhere. The blue polythene they use is absolutely useless aswell. Dont know how many times we see customers get brand new windows then a few months later they get their building rendered or rough...
The moerman stuff really isn't worth money to be honest. It smells better than most soaps but in terms of glide it's no different from fairy platinum and if anything you will use a bit more of it to get the same results as platinum in my experience
Not sure if there's any videos on modifying the clips. What I did was just leave them in bowl of boiling water for a few mins, bend them up slightly then put in bowl of cold water. It's trial and error really. Ideally you want to be testing them on windows with flats seals to make sure u have it...
The liquidator isn't perfect out of the box but no tool is. The only mod I have done on mine are bending the clips up slightly, that's it. I remember trying every squeegee on the market years ago and all of them needed modified to work better. The liquidator is faster and cleaner than any other...
Used to use window cleaning warehouse few years ago but gave up on them after I was receiving channels sent through the post in basically a plastic bag with no protection ?
