    CLX 18 V SLX 18

Thanks for all your comments, as usual I can always rely on someone saying its been asked before and the group going off on a tangent ??? Maybe I should have made it more clear.... I've been cleaning windows for over 30 years, my round is the size I want it maybe a little too big, I only have 6...

    CLX 18 V SLX 18

Hi, I know the SLX is overall the better pole but when it comes to an 18ft pole is it £75+vat better?  I currently use a CLX 22,had it a year and been fine with it. Looks like I don't need the length 98%of the time so thinking of investing in an 18ft.

? Pure water - Possibly an issue for me?

Hi, as regards saving for a trolly I converted to wfp after 30 y of traditional. I've made my own trolly by strapping a Gardner backpack to a sack trolly for £150. Then added 30m of hose and Gardner pole..... Works a treat... Been using it for 3 months now?

? Pure water - Possibly an issue for me?

Not size of vessel, 2 vessels connected, calculated on only 1 vessel.

? Pure water - Possibly an issue for me?

Had a look at the calculater, only does it for 1 Di vessel not 2?. That said if I have to keep flow rate from mains tap down will defeat part of reason I was looking at double di!  Based on my usage how often would I be looking at changing filters n resin on an RO set up?

? Pure water - Possibly an issue for me?

Yeah I know it's not the cheapest option, just most convenient....No wast to get rid of plus on meter. Plus only use 500-600L a week. Currently paying £12 a week off another window cleaner.

? Pure water - Possibly an issue for me?

Hi, I'm looking to just use double di. My Tds is around 150 so simler to you. How much water can you produce before changing the  resin in one of the vessels? Also is it best to turn water on full or slow?  Thanks in advance

    Trolly v van mounted

I carry 45L on my trolly so don't have to go back to van as ofter in fact half the time I fill up as I pass my van.  That said I would consider van mounted if it suited my work but at the moment trolley seems best..  Everyone has there preference, so long as it works for them then it's the...

    Trolly v van mounted

    Where I live a 2 up 2 down is around £6. 3 on 1 backpack say 25L =£18 per pack. So 16 x 25L (400L) for a £300 day seems excessive to me not splash n dash.  I do £250 with 150L - 175L ??

    Trolly v van mounted

In my experience that's not a good idea when plenty of other window cleaners would be happy to do front and back.

    I do 4-5 of them

    Trolly v van mounted

I find personally 30m is just right as it let's me leave trolly kerbside. I also have reserve barrel on my trolly so less trips to van.... If my back gets worse I like your idea of tank in van ?

    Trolly v van mounted

With van mounted I'd have to move my van 3-4 times more in a day which is 1-2 houses a day or 40 houses.... I think you know where I'm going with this ?. If I was just starting out I would be more tempted but at my age I'm happy to do 6hrs a day 4 days a week ? lpus I only go through 6-7 barrels...

    Trolly v van mounted

I that was my concern ?, I currently run 30m hose, sack trolly with backpack and barrel on top, I can do 6 or 7 medium houses before returning to the van.  Have you not got a univalve to stop start your Water?

    Trolly v van mounted

Does hot water clean better or just keep from freezing?
  17. N

    Trolly v van mounted

Yeah I agree, after 30 years I know my work, I currently think trolly is best right now but like to look at all the options.... Just wondered if I was missing something....

    Trolly v van mounted

Most of my work are detached properties, I manage to leave trolly on road and get to all the house, also kitted it so I can carry about 50L so I don't have to move van often.

    Trolly v van mounted

I like the idea of not having to move barrels but only use 6/7 a day and have enough on with 30m yet alone 100m?? plus would have to move van at least twice as much?

    Trolly v van mounted

Yeah I can see advantage of not lifting, though I normally spend 30 minutes on a Sunday, fill 26 barrels into van, a week's worth.  Not keen on using 100m of hose, bad enough using 30m
