Old wooden sash windows

as I've never done wooden sash windows before, I thought I'd better get some advice before just plowing ahead.

If the paint is old and flaky i tend to leave the frames well alone and clean glass only on those as you can do more damage than good.

Should I set the pump to a lower pressure or keep to same pressure as when doing upvc?

i leave mine the same all the customers that have them on my round no they are going to leak a bit. iv not done any house that has sash windows where they dont have a small leak at least somewhere on the way round.

i have a varistream digital controller and i run mine on 3

Keep an eye on the bottom sash window as there can be a gap between the glass and frame. In that gap can be dust and mixed with pure makes a mess of the window, like swirly mess. Go back and check them before driving off.

wood sash can b a pig with wfp even if u use a additive in ur water some r fine but most r apain its allmost inpossable to get no spotting if the paint has gone powery or is flaky

Paint is both flaky and rotten in places on the second storey windows
