If you are not going to use a reel then I would use no more than 25mtrs of 8mm OD pole hose. There are mainly three types to choose from. PU hose, PVC hose or the reinforced pole hose. You will have to find what works for you as everyone has their preferences. Reinforced pole hose has a slightly larger OD
