Yeah had several Rs's. Had a ford escort rs turbo when i was 18. £3700 insurance for a year.

I am actually thinking about a focus rs now. But i have my heart set on a new van now. So that's priority.

Same here, had a Escort RS at 18 cost about £3k to insure lol! Then got into cosworths and the show scene, had 2 really nice saphs, the last one I had totally rebuilt, T4 turbo low comp block etc etc etc, wish I still had her now be worth a mint!!

I am also looking at a mark 2 focus RS been looking for the past 6 months, I will treat myself eventually, just awaiting the sale of our house then will prob get one once thats all sorted out, canna beat a good 5 cylinder turbo!! I'm thinking green as I love the look of them in that colour, but my head says go proper RS and get white.

Hmmmm yeah i saw one yesterday in green. Number plate was G3 VOM i had J3 VOM mis spaced on front number plate so said J 3VOM (Move in rear view mirror) My mate still has 3 VOM.

But yeah thats what i was looking at, anyway back on topic. UBIK can be used to clean Rs's

Got some more some where of my graphite grey and moonstone blue Sapphire Cosworth that's the 3 I had and a series 1RS Turbo wise I still had them now. They are big money now. 1 day I will get a never 1

The last performance car I had was this RS4, bought it brand new (first time I'd ever bought a new car) and loved it! But lost way way too much money on it!!!

I always wanted a series 1 but never did, I remeber begging my old man to lend me £3k for one I'd seen when I was 18, was mental about 290bhp, told my old man it was a nice standard car, guy took him out in it and scared him silly !! Needless to say he never lent me the cash! Worth loads these days are them

Looks lovely i've always liked the RS4. All the newer cars are just as fast as the old school ones but it's nice just to have that classic look. Newer van for me next then start thinking of a car.

I have had a couple of nice ford rs

Brother in law was chairman of the beds rs owners club for a few years

Between us we've had a few

My favourite was my s2 rst with the bad boy bonnet (with the brows over the lights) and cut out bumper for the rs500 intercooler and my favourite one of his was the 375bhp magenta saph 2wd

I'm sure @Damo has seen it as he used to knock around the same leisure park with his rs

I've had mine about 6 years(st). When me and the mrs split up I had just bought it. I had put it in her name!!!! She gave it to her unemployed boyfriend to run around in coz she was mad with me. I bought a £500 ka to get about in. I used to drive past his house n see my car in his drive and cry :gush:
