Comfort plus/smart glass - Unger stingray

Not sure if you have this type of glass in the U.K. But in Australia we have a lot of glass called comfort plus or smart glass. It's basically a film on the inside of the glass that keeps heat in the winter and heat out on the summer from the sunlight. Anyways it's basically impossible to squeegee this stuff because the rubber just drags on it. So I was wondering if anyone out there has tried using an Unger stingray on this glass and if so is it any good or does it drag like a squeegee does ?

Sounds a nightmare.

No reason you cant use a stingray. All it is a device to spray 3M Glass Cleaner & Protector and a microfiber pad to buff it off.
