Beware rebate scam

Had another email today.

It's from the HM Revenue telling me I have a tax rebate & to put in bank details so it can be put in bank.

IT IS A SCAM

Do not fill it in

I have been in touch with the revenue & they DO NOT tell you of a tax rebate through an email

Ignore it & delete if you get one.

It does look cosher but it's a scam.

My favorite scam is a very convincing letter you receive as soon as you register as a LD company.

As soon as your registered with companies house you get a letter telling you if you don't pay £190 within 7 days your company will not show up on 'The Companies Register'

Whilst it is an actual register it has nothing to do with Companies House or your business registration.

Just a well worded letter making you think you need to spend another £190. Wankers.
