Linked monoblock?

handing out some leaflets tonight and a load of houses had linked mono blocked drives with what looked like fine gravel underneath?? Is this just surface cleaner and sand like normal or a special jobby?

Done some research and it's called permeable blocks and I'll need gravel 2mm-6mm depending on gap. Jobs a good un! Hopefully I'll pick up a couple jobs lol
