does anyone on here u anything different than the white wingnut joints that come with the pumps??? does anyone use hoselock connections on there pumps ???
also has anyone used the hoselock red connection

i brought one outta b and q to see what its like . AMAZING ON THE SIDE OF A REEL NOT ONE DROP OF WATER AND IT DOESNT LET PRESSURE BUILD UP EITHER

No as the wingnut connectors have always worked well. The come in either straight or angled. Because they have a conical face they have always sealed perfectly.

These reducers (3/4" to 1/2") will work but the pump's male screw fittings only has a very small sealing face and could be more prone to leak.

 
The instructions tell you to finger tighten only. We then put a spanner onto the nut to 'nip' it up. So it slightly tighter than you can do with your fingers. You have to be careful not to over tighten and strip the threads.
