Tds reading ... what's exceptable before it leaves spots ?

I aim for and achieve 000 from my RO, but did a couple of jobs with some old DI resin with about 009 and it worked out fine.

changed mine today as it got up to 003 yesterday had been shaking and swirling the Di vessel the last couple of weeks which kept it at between 001 and 002 glad to see it back to 000

yea zero is peace of mind, i changed mine over the holidays (first time:hiding and also address the tds creep, which is something i had just put on the back boiler! but in hindsight i wish i had fine tuned things from the start... at such an easy fix

I run mine for a few minutes each morning as I'm loading up the van then switch the valves back gets rid of the tds creep anything to save a little resin lol.

Agreed, best practice in my opinion.

Only ever made up To for my old marine fish tank and always flushed for a few mins before making up the water.

Depends on your area round here my company I worked for max 5 ppm

Now I work for my self I'm max 1ppm also my set up is different all my watering tank is on 000 ppm but some have the resin after the pump and tank

Done it once at 11ppm, no complaints. Was working away from home at the time so didn't have much option.
