which way?

Univalve has arrived. Which way round does it go? There is a groove and a small hole at one end, does this face the top? (towards the brush). Thanks

Thankyou for your quick response. I use the one click for my van mount, but occasionally the trolley comes out, so then I use my other pole with an aqua dapter fitted. This is what the univalve is going to replace.
