I am cutting all my channels at an angle today

Anyone else do this

Was chatting to a windie a moment ago who has done his

Had a go on a window and it leaves practically no detailing

Sweet

Not tried it myself but I've heard it works great to help reduce detailing

Try dog earing. Get a pair of pliers and bend the channel down at both ends. That will give a good grip between rubber and channel.

If I cut a stainless one will the cut ends rust?

I think it's just a coating ain't it?

i cut them i think it helps great .roughly at a 90 degree angle but make sure its the same on the other side cos wen you fin with your rubber you can turn your rubber around and it should fit perfect . also i do dog ear some of my channels but im trying some thing defferent for my wagtail ,its were you bend the channel in ,you can watch a guy called polz n blade on youtube he does it this way and looks good . iv never seen any rust on the ends

I just did all my channels like polezn blades 0 detail squeegee..works brilliantly ..just did my own windows and only detailed a couple of bits..think my cloths might last longer now
