Alternative to a vacuum cleaner

Do you mean a harris pole ? and what's a gutter bend Mate ?
No, not a harris pole, a pressure washing pole, I have one that if memory serves is 8 meters? then you attach a U bend on top so you can pressure wash the insides of gutters/downpipes.

Link to a long reach pressure washing pole, this is the one I have http://www.jetmac.co.uk/shop/telescopic-lance-7-3-meters/
Can't find the U bend I have, but this would work the same way http://www.jetmac.co.uk/shop/swivel-end-nozzle-holder-attachment-telescopic-lance/

Would create a lot of mess to clear up afterwards, but no electric needed and would work.
Oh right I guess if there's no alternative that would be good, but I bet the mess it'll make would soon have me looking for something else, do you not use guttervacs, sure I read something you wrote about them ?

That's the thing with them, the batterys don't last very long i think, think the Gtech as Lithium ion though, could be wrong ?

I use a gutter vac yes, I was just giving you an option that didn't use electric lol.

Has anybody ever used a Billy Goat leaf vac for this, would need some kind of reducer to bring the bore of the pipe down but I imagine it would work pretty well and would do away with the

need for electric !

Just buy a cordless back pack vac I'm investing in one as for health and safety reasons, contracts for cleaning communals and other big places luv cordless not loads of cable running round everywhere [emoji106]
