Using Linkedin To Gain Work?

Do any of you guys use linked in to gain work?

i.e. targetting a specific person in a company and introducing yourself?

Just wondering who you would target, somebody in facilities or whoever is in charge of organising the cleaning etc?

LinkedIn doesn't work as well as Facebook for windys but not many of you guys use it so it's an avenue worth going down.

Use it to link up to your friends, old colleagues and family. Their connections could then see you and get in touch but it's a real long shot!

Try to connect to FM companies as they typically outsource window cleaning.
