O.K. So we have now decided on a nice 35ft carbon pole and our ro unit is pretty good (bit slower than advertised but thats another question for later lol)

Our little trolley system seem a bit naff now so what is a good level entry delivery system, at present we just have a 100psi sureflow from a 25ltr tank, we do have a 300 ltr tank in our lock up though.

Is it worth buying a complete kit such as this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SALE-500L-FRAMED-BUDGET-DI-PURE-WATER-SYSTEM-Kit-2-user-window-cleaning-/350926583458?pt=UK_HomeGarden_CLV_Cleaning_CA&hash=item51b4dab6a2

Or is there a better alternative, some kind of portable unit would be best so we could alternate vans.

I've been looking at a few second hand units on ebay, is there anything I should look out for or expect??

Cheers

Pretty much got all the gear together now.

I bought the d.i. filter off ebay, My system doesn't have this at the moment so what exactly do I do with it, do I fill it to the top with resin and put it between the pole and pump??

How long roughly will the resin last, water from our ro is normally 000-002tds, will the low tds make the resin last longer?

Cheers

Wow mate your Resin will last ages if water going in is 000-002. I make my water into a static Tank, not on the van so I dont have a DI in the Van. Some put the Resin before the pump others put it after. What is your TDS from the tap ?

You say you have a 300 tank in your lock up? Depending on how you transfer your water from your tank to your 25 ltr tubs will dictate where you put the di

I'm not sure if this would work but if you plumb the di in straight after the ro, then out of the di into your tank this would give you 000 polished water ready to use, but the way i would do it is wait till you get your van sorted (002is fine to clean with) and put the di after the pump, so in your van you would have your 000-002 and your di would polish it before it goes up the pole.

As for your resin life span, my ro produces 000-001 and i have just checked the tds after my di for the first time in 2 months and its 000, i reckon it'll last a long long long time, i'll check it again every two weeks now
