Problem With Scrims After Wash!

every time i wash my scrims and micro's they always feel hard and almost like wax'y!

i wash them on a cold wash with no powder liquid etc just on theyre own then put them on the maiden to dry out but they always feel crispy and hard!, would it be worth putting softener in with them?

I do the same with mine but with a hot wash and iv had no probs .if that helps

Don't put softener in them!!

I prefer tumble drying my cloths

I find they loosen up if I wrestle with them for a few mins

I wash my scrim in hot water no soap no softner and tumble mine like Belfast, seems to work ok

micros say wash 60 and dont tumble dry but I do just not bone dry

i just chuck mine in on a quick wash with a bit of washing power no softner tho then tumble dry, mine never fiel like cardboad then

Hot wash with whatever swmbo has in for doing the laundry for me, no softener though.
