Ladders

ok, so today I'm looking at purchasing some ladders, but not really sure what kind of ladders to go for...(my father in law said he will give me his ones) but reading on this forum best I buy them new.. Can anyone recommend some decent/safe ladders, at reasonable cost? Thanks

i recommend LYTE trade ladders , i buy mine from www.brownsladders.co.uk

but to be honest id set to with your father in laws set just to start you off

Browns is excellent, they do spikes and woods etc for me too.

I live quite near too, so I've always gone and picked the ladders up. The last set of ladders, I bought from ash of ancoats though.

there's also the ladder centre in blackpool, for anyone up north.

I suppose I didn't think people shipped ladders, so I was always thinking of local places. Nice to know people a long way off rate browns though

I've used these for years, the 2x 11 foot ones, just the job. and the feet are replaceable too.
