Setup

Softener, Ro, twin Di

Problem

After the Ro the Tds is 8ppm, yet when it goes through the first di it rises to 40ppm, the second di takes it back down to to 0ppm (same batch of resin) why?

The first Di was use successfully for 6 months until it reached 2ppm when I added the second disc vessel thinking I was using the first vessel to the max, thus saving on the price of di.

I have removed the bad di vessel and a I am now using 1 vessel again.

Do twin di vessels work for you.?

Because that resin is saturated now so has no room left to clean the water so you are in effect flushing the impurities back out into the second di??

I used twin di for a year..i now use a 25 ltr vessel...had no probs with it...just easier for me to change 1 instead of 2vn swappin em round
