I live on the South Coast, so wondering if it will be easier to buy one down here, just heard they're cheaper in the North.

No they are not cheaper. Not on like for like.

Even of you find it £200 cheaper 'up north' by the time you spend a day, a train ticket and a tank of fuel home what have you saved?

I'm southern based too, always found vans cheaper up north. Last two were from Cardiff then Leeds

My uncle was a bit of a car dealer and would send cars down to Exeter auctions on the train. He said cars sold for more down south.
