how long can rubber last if not beeing used?

How long can the rubber last if not beeing used, before they dry out or be just bad?

i bought a pack of unger soft 10" maybe 10-11 months ago, never use it cuz i use mostly 14" and hard rubber now when its summer . And if i need a shorter one, i cut my old 14 down to a shorter size.

If stored properly i dont think they go bad

Just put it in a small plastic bag or container and mix it with Talc-powder . That way it keeps the rubber alive forever . I had some for 4 yrs , fresh as new . ( a rare type I hardly use )

I buy my rubbers in packs of 100 x 36" lengths, I don't think they go off at all or at least I have never noticed
