what do you guys think it looks solid and cheap

This may be ok for the top/inside roller but you need something more substantial for the outside roller.

This was the equivalent fairleads Tim used on his van

Sorry, no. The link I had doesn't exist any longer.

On the original hose guide Tim used on his Berlingo van he used the Gardiner roller guide.

I believe Grippatank use 3 of these (as Gardiner supplies) guides on their system.

The first through the van floor, the second at at 45% and the third at the bumper. Breaking the angle up makes the hose 'run' easier.
