Hi all,

any body have trouble with ionic resin?

had my new R O unit set up in the garage since February and was told the resin will be used quicker then normal due to the new R O unit and water filters, its now June and still seem to be going through it quick just wonder if any one had same problem or is it just me lol

currently use around two tanks of water a week (600ltr tank)

Hi, its an ro 4040 (see photo)

well not been working for my self long so not got that much work (getting better each day lol) i would have though my resin would last twice as long as when i was working for a company as was filling up the tank 300 lts 5 nights a week company resin was lasting about a month, ive used 3 di vessels (see photo) worth since February or does resin work on time left in bottle?

It's a lower spec resin at 4000 litres / 100 ppm so will not last as long as higher grade resins at 6000 litres. Hence why Unger is a cheaper resin. I do know for a fact Unger and ionic can not hold high ppm. Unger seems to have gone a lot cheaper so grade will have dropped as well.

cool thank you for your help so what make name resin you using at moment and is it any good?
