hi well my water heater come today......its looking good , now just need to install it,

but what size gas bottle should i get ?????

dont have loads of room in my combo but do have more then i use to thanks to my new upright 350litre tank

so what do u recon ?

depends, i have a 6kg, mate has just gone to a 11kg. wouldnt go bigger than a 11kg tho.

plus when your van is full with water and equipment do you know what weight is left on the payload?

ive got a 6kg already for my bbq, so could use that,

how many day/hours would i get from a 6kg.......?

i was thinking i would need a 13kg, but smaller the better as u say u dont want to be overloaded,

if im on my own i have about 100kg free if ive got lad working with me i have about 15kg free,

but wouldnt need to fill tank as i only uses about 250 to 300 litres most days when theres 2 of us as we do trad downstairs

not sure with that heater, and depends what settings you have it set on, but we have got upto 2 weeks out of a 6kg, about 8 days work maybe a little more.

it will take some getting used to to get it running cost effective!

you will need a red bottle propane bottle, not the bbg/patio heater ones,

yes i know i need propane bottle,

mite go for the 13kg as it cost £25. for refill when the 6kg cost £20.

yer there is that, just whtch the weight, as the 13kg weights between 25-35kg when full depending on brand used!

im lucky at the minute, get my 6lg for £13

i use a 19kg , its same width just taller, believe me , bigger is better lol
whas the weight of it full about ????
bigger it better, now where have i heard that before lol

to be honest i aint gotta clue, so its got 19kg of gas , i can lift it nae bother so im guessing its about 40 kg it aint as heavy as my 48kg pressure washer so thats my best guestimate, it dont take up anymore space than the smaller ones its just taller, also it gets lighter aw the time you use it lol , lets face it how many times you been stopped for being over weight eh ???

It wasn't my van, it was dads, no wasn't over weight. Due to the racking and tools the weight was towards the back of the van making look to low over the back wheel arch, that's what they look out for.

well just trying to connect heater up.

what connectors do i put ob water in and out ?

its a 22mm screw thred.
