So picked new 40/40 ro today

3 20inch prefilters

Stainless housing

Steel frame

All connectors

Set it up earlier,waste 2-1 and getting 1 litre in 32 seconds

Ppm in 245-ppm out 6ppm

Well chuffed

All in for £360

 
Can't knock that.

If you haven't had a 4040 before, you can't help but be amased at how fast it produces water.

Sounds same as mine.
Wait till you add a booster pump.
Wish I'd got one sooner

im going to keep eyes out for a booster but to be honest it's producing very quick anyway

But if a booster comes along cheap I'll get it

 
The membrane states 90-98% when I looked at them a few months ago - no other figures stated by Collins so I assumed you would need around 120-150psi to get a good return. I considered pushing out a trolley system using these bits as they seem reasonable, hopefully eviestevie will be able to provide some longer term test results for the forum as it's looking like a decent and cost effective way to get a 4040 system
