Hi folks, I'm new here, this is my first post. I recently saw a Utube video about soaping up a window and how doing it properly can eliminate your detailing drastically. They were saying soap all the window but leave a small 1 inch gap around the edge, so when squeegeeing you can get all the water off leaving only the sill to wipe at the bottom. They argue that the squeegee carries the water close enough to the edges for the window to be fully cleaned. I am interested to know if this is how most people do it as the sides of my frames have soap on from my aggressive soaping lol which leads me to have loads of detailing and frame wiping as my squeegee technique is not that good ATM. I only started 3 months ago. Thanks folks.
