Pump or controller?

I seem to have a problem with either my pump or controller.

When I turn my controller on I can work fine and everything's fine, when it hits the dead end the normal 'P' is displayed on the varistrean and flow stops. What happens next is where the problem is, the varistream will go back to my desired setting and the pump will kick into action and not turn off, I can hear the pump just ticking over but that slow it's almost stopped.

It's causing my battery to flatten much quicker and would like it to reach the dead end setting and switch off (then just check pressure as normal). I have no air gaps or leaks an have replaced hose internal and textual fittings etc.

I'm hoping it's easy for one of you guys to diagnose.
