Hi there.

Just changed my HF5 membrane and can't remember which way round the membrane goes in the housing!

One end of the membrane has a built in white strip the other has a removable black rubber o ring. Which end goes to flush and which goes to the feed?

Thanks, mike

1)

Attach end cap at outlet end (pure and waste) back onto membrane housing

2)

Cut plastic bag at end opposite end to end with the white rubber seal on membrane.

3)

Whilst holding the membrane in its plastic bag (to avoid touching the membrane) slide the membrane into housing, ensuring the white rubber seal on membrane is at the top end, and push membrane shaft into end cap end of pure and waste. Once fully inserted, remove the plastic bag.

4)

Attach end cap at inlet feed end.

5)

NOTE – White rubber seal on membrane must be at inlet feed end

6)

Attach all hoses and flush for a minimum of 2 hours or until you are happy with pure ppm.

Thanks Doug - Just what I needed! So white rubber seal at inlet feed, the end with the rubber O ring at the flush end?

Thanks, Mike
