Changes To Seo. [In Case You Missed It.]

You've got to love SEOmoz they love to play up when Google makes it's changes!

Backlinks will never cause any negative effects to SEO. If they did, all you'd need to do to rank above a competitor is get a load of spammy links to their websites and hey presto!

The other changes only effect those naughty little Black Hatters so it's the same old story with getting a good ranking - create good quality content that's either helpful or interesting. Patience is one of the most important tools here. If you try to hurry things along with some Black Hat, you'll get up worse off.

Agree.

For someone like yourself, who is, by the looks of it, clued up on SEO it's obvious.

But for those who are not quite as well versed on the subject, it's a cool little video!

Well I think so anyway! /emoticons/smile.png

All I'm doing is putting people's minds at rest. Google make small changes to their algorithm on an almost weekly basis and a change like this won't affect 99.99% of people on this forum.

As long as website owners are giving Google the sort of information that their search engines can give to their users, then there's nothing to worry about.

This is just SEOmoz scaremongering people into their $99 monthly subscription fee!
