Van ports and winter!

Decided to T into my fill port but on the inside and create another way of filling the van.

Currently i fill from a static system via a van port. Takes around an hour to fill.

I like doing this way as it A mixes Vision and B prevents flooding (auto fill fitted) However even though i have pipe wrap under the van on the fill tube i am concerned it will freeze up.

So decided to create an internal fill port as well, so i can benefit from A and B still.

If that makes sense lol

Would you not consider just using a transfer pump damo? Just put the tube straight into your van tank?

It's a long run from tanks to van. So might costs a fair amount in hose. Will have a looksie.

Not sure of the make, but its blue and I got it from varitec

uh 500l take over an hour for me transferring

I got a sump pump from lidl lol. It's running through garden hose which makes it worse. I could do with speeding it up any tips

Box says it will do 10,000 litres an hour. Mmm I think not. It is pumping through 15m hose

Get a submersible pump from Varitech or Gardiners. Plus get the green rippled hose.

Like I said, I can transfer 400L in about 4-5 minutes
