I have to clean a friends mansion tomorrow. It's gonna take 3 hours just to clean the windows. The sills are made of a light grey stone but have dirt ingrained into them. I had a quick go with the pole last time but it did nothing.

What works?

Contact a surface surgeon who specializes in hard surfaces. otherwise sills might get discoloured on your friends expensive mansion.

ive used chloras a couple of times on these and it works great ,but i always test a discreet area first just to be sure , its just sprayed on and a small scrub , then leave it to soak in and rinse . just be sure not to get any near plants or flowers or it will kill them .

I tried fairy liquid and a non abrasive cleaner as suggested by my local cleaning wholesaler but no good. The guy in the shop said the only way to do it is using a jet washer on a medium setting,.
