Harris pole angle

Afternoon fellow window cleaners , I've just got a Harris pole but I need a Angle joint to fit the top ' where can I get one will ungers fit many Thanks

you need to drill the rivets out.buy a a thread insert from wcw or use a thread from an old Bentley broom,while your there buy an angle arm.

I use an unger angle

Needs a little tape wrapped round it to take up the slack

I use a split pin so i can change ends if i want

My mate done mine for me as I'm useless at diy lol, he used a small drill bit and punch to remove the rivet that holds painter cone, then I went to the local plumbers shop got a bit of overflow pipe (got a off cut for free) result, that was a good fit to take up the slack and instead of using the original hole he derivited he drilled new holes further down as this made it stronger took him five minutes, saying that he is gifted engineer.

The bit of pipe between the harris pole and unger angle is a piece off the end of my old optiloc pole

That has the tape around and then wedged into harris pole

Unger angle is clipped into that

Forgot to mention that earlier
