After 8 months tradding, just bought my first WFP package...

di resin needs to stay wet once it is wet. when new it comes in a well sealed package and must be kept well sealed once in your tank the tank should stay filled.

being on its side for transport or storage has no effect but in use it should be the right way up.

keep checking your tds readings though, as the resin is used it sometimes degrades quickly toward the end of its life.

check your reading when the water has been running not when you first start it.

technique is crucial as you have seen with the drips you got top must be done thoroughly and allowed to drip out.

plastic frames are much easier painted wood is sometimes quick difficult as it is harder to get it clean and sometimetimes drips dirty water for awhile.
