Water containers contaminated pure water ?

hows it going everyone well today I wfp a small town house and I got a call back saying there where lil dots never hade this happen before then I realized I got new water containers for my back pack so I tested the water .18 is this common so I empty out the containers and refilled them back to .000 then 20 mins later .6 repeated process now down to .4 waited an hour this time the .27 is this common ? Anyway went back to the lady's house fixed up the proplem then gave her, $50 back she didn't want to take but I insisted I hate doing a bad job no way I'm having my name next to the word cowboy window cleaner

Brand new the old containers keep the water at 00.0 same brand and everything just weird as

Thats strange, maybe there is residue from the manufacturing process?

i buy food grade containers never had a problem with them
