240V submersible pump that will fit into the top if IBC tank

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I don't have a submersible, but I've read a solution on other forums.

Cut 2 slits from the top of the thread of the IBC tank in the shape of a pineapple chunk. Don't cut the bottom piece as to don't want it to fall into the tank. Peel this back so you can drop your sub pump into the tank. The out hose from the ibc tank will usually go through the removed vent plug. You may have to drill another hole for the power cable. Screw the top back on with the flap returned to its original place. The top should hold it in place. Seal the 2 slots or cuts you made with some UPVC sealer to keep the dirt out.

I have a 1" pipe going through my vent to an external transfer pump. I have a loose cloth over it so the tank can vent without drawing in any dirt.
