He is going to be world heavyweight champion like his dad i am predicting

I used to like it back in the day, but I much prefer MMA now.

Yes I'm into boxing seen a few like Campbell fights with him being local, Carl froch was someone I used to enjoy watching and Mike Tyson, just waiting to watch is show tonight in Vegas, I do believe boxing has maybe had its day, the heavyweight division is a bit of a joke now

I like any of the fighting sports

Boxing

Mma

Thai boxing

World combat league

But boxing is what i grew up doing

Pity it has gone downhill

This is good though..no holding. .no hesitating or points awarded to opponent

1 round so just go mental

2 teams of 6

2 fights each

Team with the most points wins

See who is top of the league at the end

Hello davieboy. Yeh, I watched it through blurry eyes ( 50 years old today! Or yesterday now I think). The pub we was in had a few gypsy boys in, and I think (probably wrong) the white was a gypo. Anyhow, it got very lairy in the pub, but my mate Joe was bang on, eubank was far to skillful for the other fella

I use to love the Eubank-Benn-Colin's era

It was middleweight division tho

The heavy weight division tho back then drew in the big numbers

Middleweight is better to watch as it's not slow like the heavyweights

Except tyson heavyweights are slow

I prefer the lightweight-middleweight now

But back in the day I loved the heavyweights

They looked the part, all in mega shape

And electric fights

Now the heavyweights claim they diet and train hard look like **** and to heavy

Totally agree. There hasn't been a decent heavy weight since Lennox Lewis I.m.o. Now their just big bouncer type guys who lack the skills.

And I think your right about the middle weights as well. When it was ben, eubank, Watson and Collins all scrapping each other, it was so exiting

Hello Davy .

I've been a big boxing fan right from the sixties and seen most of the greats.

For a start let's hope nick is OK ( bleeding on the brain ) he put up a brave show but he took too many hard shots early on and his style was made to measure for Eubanks.

I am a fan of Chris Eubanks I've watched him right from the word go,he is getting better with each fight and I think like you he will become a world champion , he still has holes in his style that need to be put right , as his opponents have moved up in class so as he , and each one leading up to a fight has said he's a fake etc and that they are going to knock him out but he has proved them wrong in a big way .

It's obvious from what Billy Joe keeps saying about him that he doesn't like him and that's an under statement , I think BJ would find him a different fighter now to when he got the split decision on him .

As far as BJ goes he is a good boxer but not a fighter like Eubanks , that's why he wins on points and to me isn't as exciting to watch , I thought the championship fight with Andy Lee was what I expected it to be (points win for BJ)a tad tedious to watch, and this next guy he's fighting IMO is hand picked and more than likely it'll be BJ peppering him the full twelve rounds for a points win (hope I'm wrong)

If the fight with Golovkin does come off in the summer at Wembley? Then we will see what BJ is made he won't be able to hit and run for twelve rounds with GGG it would be great if in some way he got the win as I always root for any British fighter .

All the fighters have tried different tactics with GGG but he eventually breaks them down (Martin Murray) once he has Sussed them out .

Hope I haven't bored you Dave with that lot , but I am a big boxing fan .

I also follow UFC but do prefer quality boxing .

Cheers Dave

Glenn

Just played rugby in the ******* down sideways rain in eatford and that turned into a bit of a boxing match with some flared tempers

No we've finished the sun is out so a few beers are in order

And a chat with the other team

I went to the boxing last night at Sheffield, big fan of kell brook but time for him to fight the elite in the division, thurman, garcie, pac man, Bradley or even tak of cotto!

Hello Outlane .

It's all about money and politics with Kell not getting the big names , even though he got the win in America he's not a big name there .

It looks like he's going to struggle to get a big fight with the big names over there and they look unlikely to come over here , his chance of the fight with Khan is gone

That's if it was ever on anyway , let's hope he doesn't fade away through not getting the big fight , I don't think it did him any favours with his tactics when he won the title by clinching & smothering it wasn't the best fight to watch.

You most likely know more about the position Kells in than I do , let's hope it happens for him .

Cheers Glenn .

I think that's what he had to do over he to win against Shaun porter he had to hit when he could and not get hit and did that by smothering, but I think they big fights as got to be next maybe cotto will want too much money but thurman has already said he thinks brook is the best welterweight in the division so hopefully he will fight him next but will probs have to go to the America to the big casinos..I disagree with you about the Khan fights hes clever calling the big names out is Khan to try get a fight and if he loses he's always got Brooke to fall back on because the don't like each other

Hello Outlane .

Let's hope Kell does get the Thurman fight or any of the other of the big names , I know what you mean by Khan falling back for the big money fight with Kell , the one fight Kell does want to stay away from is with GGG ,it could be another Nick Blackwell job ! GGG is way too big and strong for Kell , I've read that Kell has been after a match with him , I don't think it will happen though , he's better sticking with the guys his fighting weight .

Cheers Outlane , Glenn
