peoples opinions please an old friend always used ettore when he had his round, as I'm new and about the spend some money could people tell me their preferences for each piece of kit and why please.
You can't go wrong with either brand, and like Dave says, a mix and match is fine. I prefer under squeegees these days, especially the Ergotec XL handle. And I prefer the under ninja sleeve to the moerman, but I like the moerman for poling big windows as it can hold a tonne of water. Everyone has there own preferences, and you will too once you have tried a few for yourself. At least all the gear is cheap.
He sold his round and and equipt approx 2 years ago due to ill health he said he will go the local warehouse in gt. leighs to choose the stuff to get me started but just wanted to get others opinions on what equipt they use as I suppose when I progress be good to have insight on others experiences.
This is what i am currently using when i trad..mostly insides nowadays but i did have a trad afternoon today on a bunch of houses with a huge alleyway to get to the back gates
Couldn't carry enough water on my trolley so i carried my little 7 rung triples round and tradded 5 houses in a terrace front and back
I enjoy jobs like that when i get a break from wfp
Good photo Daveyboy pics speak a thousand words another question what extension pole (length/s)do you use and do all the different handle fit that particular pole was going to order a pole/s as well for the hard to reach Windows.
Wagtail, unger, moerman all fit the optiloc cone end on an unger pole
I use a harris decorators pole with unger adjustable angle and optiloc cone for top windows over conservatory etc and a length of plastic plumbing pipe wide enough to shove an optiloc cone in the end for lower windows just out of reach or over bushes etc
Ettore is a funny fit..I'm not sure as never used one but I'm sure the ettore poles must have different dimensions on the end piece
