Metal Hose reel spindle thread leaking

new metal reel just recently purchased. leaking at the thread on the spindle where it meets the mold, anyone else had this? company sent another spindle and it still the same. have a look at the issue here [media]

This is a known problem that there is a fault. We check all of ours before sending them out and reject about 50% of them. Just ask for a new spindle and for them to test it before sending it out

Had 3 new spindles now still the same. Have a drip tray underneath for now. May use some sealant round it. It should be threaded into the spindle. at least then we could take it out put sealant on or ptfe and thread it back in. Seems a bad design to me. Thanks for your reply tho doug
