So I've finally wired up and installed components in junction box.. and everything works! (except PWM, which is faulty, but replacement is making it's way) Pretty chuffed to finally see it coming together... now to connect up inlet/outlets.

Looks awesome! Do you have a picture of the inside? Love the battery meter and the colour scheme.
Yeah I liked having a percentage rather than just voltage, but I can see both if I push button.
As for colour I wanted this to look as tidy and professional as I could, so colours needed to match [emoji16]

I've tried to keep wiring as tidy as possible, looks a mess in the pictures though. The pump I've bolted onto the lid in such a way that the pump will "hang" slightly, which seems to be quieter than bolted tight to box.

Superb bit of DIY!!! Are you going to do a full parts list breakdown and buy the build in the DIY section. Would be very helpful to others.
Also - to minimise vibration and noise I use dampers on pumps, it’s made my 4040 booster so much quieter

Thanks! I am a complete novice so asked for loads of advice before I even started, and took my time. Good idea about the dampers! I may see if I can add them in [emoji6]
As for parts and build, I more or less used jimmyboots thread for heavy duty trolley as my guideline. Just added the odd different thing here and there. If I get time I might do a breakdown of it, I appreciated the help I was given so would pass that on to others....

It looks very good what I found when I did mine was water would collect on the top of the box and would cause  a few connections to rust so I just added a small amount of silicone to the ***** ect and worked a treat

Cheers mate, yes I think I may have watched your vids on YouTube before so I was planning to put silicone around the fittings, also gave me other helpful pointers so thanks!

Nice paint job. What kind of paint did you use? The boxes I have feels way to smooth to spray anything on without sanding and priming first. The first nick would chip of a good deal of paint.

I know this is an old thread but how have you fixed the pump without the bolts being visible from the outside

That is awesome, so professional looking, makes mine a definite Heath Robinson contender, what is the digital readout (95) indicating? Would you do a breakdown of the parts and where you sourced them. Gez
