Flow controller, battery and pump wiring

Recommended Posts

Hi lads/lady’s,

Is this just as straight forward as it looks then ?

From top to bottom:

Battery -

Battery +

Pump+

Pump -

Cheers

Andy

That does look like a 3A pwm controller which will not be adequate for a wfp pump. Please check that, as you'd need at least a 10A rated controller.

But yes, as long as you add an inline fuse and a switch, the wiring is correct.

I thought because it’s a 3 amp pump then a 3 amp controller would be fine. Guy from da components shows same setup on YouTube.

It’s already got a switch on it

Ok, sure, if the pump is no more than 36w it'll work fine. Though it seems a bit low end for a wfp system,  unless it's a trolley with a short hose?
