Hi guys,

How do you approach hydrophobic glass that's been trad for years?  Do you scrub the top frame/seal for longer on the first few cleans? Or do you do as normal  or even avoid the top seal?

I'm in the process of converting a trad round and find hydrophobic a pain the backside! On some real problematic glass I've done the 'cut in' method that @paul alan kindly instructed me on.  But it isn't always possible with compartment windows above etc plus it would be nice to have the whole window, frame & seals free of contaminants for the future.

Thanks in advance!

Hydrophobic glass that has been regularly cleaned since new is my favourite glass to clean. You can almost avoid any rinsing and it dries perfectly fine.
