Pole Lube

GT 85 gets a mention for applying to pole.

I've got a Gardiner extreme, and I wanted to know if it's ok to apply GT85 to the carbon pole?

Any downside to applying this stuff over time to the carbon?

Seems to make a lot of sense to keep the sections lubed for ease of use.

Thoughts on this would be good, before I go ahead.

Cheers.

I applied monthly.

I do use dry film ptfe spray now as found it works far better and less greasy.

I would not recommend GT85 as it is an oil based wet lubricant which can affect the carbon.

Dry-film PTFE lubricant is best for carbon fibre poles.
