Leisure Battery

hi my van set up is run off the car battery. should i fit a leisure one to? and if so is it easy to do?

Yes for sure, I have 2 leisure batteries in the back. Definately worth sorting out especially when you get working more and the pumps working more.

Yep sound advice. Dead easy and cheap (sub £20 for split and battery's can be had for £60)

I use a leisure battery and had it set up via a split relay, but there was a fault with the unit and I was left with a flat.

 

Now I just bring in the battery and put it on a trickle charge every night. If I were to forget the battery has enough power for about three days, so I'm not worried.

It works for me.

i leave my battery in the van all week and charge it on sunday night. I do use a solar panel to hold the charge
