RIP van....argghhhh engine

Today my van broke down, looks like i am off the road for a few weeks. 2k to get reconditioned engine, van really not worth it....What do i do??

buy new van and pay £1k to transfer ionics system over?

buy van with a fitted kit?

Jump off a very tall bridge???

What would you do, money is a object.!!. x

Ouch 1k to move your system, mine can be moved in about 30 minutes or less. Give me 1k and you can have my 400l tank, pump and digital controller

Brother in law is a electrician, lol. Im now thinking about getting a k system fitted, brand new hot water all for £2200....for a 2 lady set up. lol

Thats because its been reconditioned, i.e made new(ish) again. Whereas the breakers one is just taken straight off a scrapped van and sold. If you get one from a breaker it will probably be fine especially if it was off a van that was shunted from behind and written off. Might be worth ringing a few places, and even ebay can be a good source.

the guy out at theberton is called John, decent guy. youd likely pay 200-300 absolutely tops for a good running engine . thats IF you need a whole engine . i used to be a mechanic few yrs ago now and often went out to see John and his son in law runs a yard next door doing VW. likely theyd sort you out with somebod who would fit it in for you

Yeah kangoo.....Im now looking for a engine....garage where van is broke will fit it with cam belt and water thingy for about £500.....Y is it a bank hol. just when I don't need it.lol
