Setting up my wfp system, what to buy?

This is my shed, could I set up a RO system in it? Also, I have a car, with a medium sized boot, can I get a flat 125litre tank, I was told to buy the stuff myself as it's cheaper than buying it from a company as a set, is this true and where should I go?

yeah you could easily get an RO in there.

I dunno about a tank in a car? If you're using a car its probably easier to use 25 litre containers.

They're about a fiver each on Ebay.

You'll easily fit your RO/DI in there no problem. If you're just in a car you're much better off getting 25l containers to be used on or to fill a trolley but you're not going to want to fill each one individually. If I were you I'd source either a IBC to go next to the shed if there's space or a smaller, but sealed, tank (Covered or non-transparent to avoid algae growth) if there's not.

Vyair do good systems and their customer service is top notch. http://www.vyair.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=129 would suit you well, particularly as it's pumped if your tap pressure isn't high enough (reasonably common), have that feed into a DI tank then into your larger tank with http://www.vyair.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=188 drilled into the side of it at the top to automatically shut off the waste and pure output when the tank is full (that system has deadend detection and shuts off automatically) and you'll be able to connect it up, open the tap and not have to worry about it. Then it's just a matter of a water butt pump to fill your 25l containers each morning and you're away.

As for the trolley, I have a pure freedom trolley (more expensive option but worth it) and http://www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk/big-boy-backpack.html strapped to http://www.sacktrucksdirect.co.uk/telescopic-folding-sack-truck.html which also works well and less than half the price. There's also plenty of guides on how to build your own which will be about the same price as the backpack on a trolley.

Wouldnt a 125 litre tank flat one in my boot be better and a hose on a roll be better than messing around with trolleys? I will do the ground floor traditionally.

It's doable but you would have to make sure the tank is wrapped as they usually sweat as well as the boot floor, you should change the sheets regularly. Although I do wonder how long the rear suspension would cope too.

what do you mean wrapped exactly? I will be using the pure water system when I cant do traditional could I go for 75litres ? If I emptied the water tank when not using it would that be better for the suspension? Where would I buy the tank and other equipment?

Wrap the bottom half with tarpaulin so it's bowl-like.

I did a similar thing couple years ago with a Cavalier & put a 210L tank on back seats with DI vessel + hose reel in the boot, just over a year later it bombed in the MOT. Got a van now.
